8/24/2009 - Ryan Marshall
Ryan Marshall has joined the Financial Markets Advisory group as a Managing Director and co-head of the Portfolio Management team. Mr. Marshall joins BlackRock from Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co. where he was previously a Managing Director and responsible for macro-economic analysis & strategy for the Private Equity and Fixed Income businesses. Before that role, Mr. Marshall was Global Head of Fixed Income Research at Morgan Stanley.
5/14/2009 - Krishna Prasad
Krishna Prasad has joined the EMEA Financial Markets Advisory team as a Managing Director. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Prasad was a senior portfolio manager at PIMCO Europe Ltd, focusing initially on ABS portfolio management and later on starting an advisory business. Before that role, Mr. Prasad spent 11 years at Lehman Brothers, the last of which he served as a Managing Director. During his tenure, Mr. Prasad was consistently the top ranked analyst by the Institutional Investor for European asset-backed securities from 2003 to 2008.
4/14/2009 - Olivier Defaux
Olivier Defaux has joined BlackRock as a Director in the EMEA Financial Markets Advisory team. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Defaux managed risk at Merrill Lynch's Alt-A and subprime origination platforms in the UK and was responsible for trading whole loans. He also oversaw the Quantitative Structuring & Analytics group and the development of risk platforms.
